Warranty on Trinovid or Ultravid (non-HD) models: Leica Lifetime Sport Optics Passport Protection Plan. This exclusive plan provides protection against manufacturer defects, functional failures, or any accidental damages to the covered equipment, including breakage, water damage, or any accident. Excluded are occurrences of loss, theft, or deliberate damage. Cosmetic or other signs of normal wear and tear on external surfaces, including lenses, are not considered as affecting optical or mechanical function of the equipment, are therefore not covered.
Warranty on new HD products: Leica binoculars and spotting scopes 2008 and newer; Leica Camera AG provides a warranty of ten years commencing on the date of purchase from an authorized dealer, and subject to the following conditions: Leica assumes all materials costs for the full ten year period, and further assumes all labor costs during the first five years. Leica Camera AG will, at its own discretion, repair the product, replace the defective parts, or replace the binoculars with an identical flawless product. Wearing parts such as rubber eyecups, leatherette, rubber armoring, and accessories are excluded. |
